The Village of Sandoval proudly dedicated the new baseball field in memory of the late Steve Walker.

Steve had a love for the game of baseball as well as his hometown.  Steve was a wonderful husband, father, friend, coach and mentor to hundreds of people and every single person who stepped on the field.  Steve's memory will live on in the heart of Sandoval at the new Steve Walker Memorial Field while chidlren of all ages play America's favorite game.

The Village of Sandoval held a field dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting to showcase recent major improvements made possible through an Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Open Space Land Aquisition and Development grant (OSLAD).
